Narnia

You can find Narnia in my Etsy shop here: Narnia or at your favorite LNS!

You may be looking for a lion on this design, since I named it Narnia, but in fact, I named it Narnia because the inspiration came from a wardrobe I saw in an antique store in San Antonio, Texas. That is the last of the images you can see here. The finished design actually turned out a bit differently that I had pictured in my mind, but I went with the flow and I LOVE how it turned out.

Even though I designed this in two colors, my original inspiration for the colors came from the Oxide color way of Missus Sedas Silk Floss. The two colors in the chart are a mirror of the strongest colors in that color way. I am stitching my model in Missus Sedas Oxide and Midnight. The linen is 36 ct hand-dyed linen from xJuDesign in Grey Sand. This floss and linen color were made for each other and stitching this is a joy! I am stitching with 1 strand of floss over two linen threads.

I loved designing this and I hope you enjoy stitching this as much as I do!

This design uses 2 colors. It is charted in DMC floss.
