As I began to think about designing an exclusive design for Stitch West 2022, the words North, South, East, West came to mind. The remaining came naturally after that – North, South, East, West – Stitching with friends is best!
I also had an image of some sort of Quaker-ish type of motif in the middle surrounded by the directional words. The rest just grew from there!
My model is stitched on 36 ct Thyme Goes By linen by Seraphim Hand-Dyed Fabrics using the overdyed floss as charted. I have also provided a DMC conversion. This design also looks great on lighter cream or gold-colored fabrics.
Can we purchase these, I wanted to be there today but hsving gallbladder surgery tomorrow. Too much pain.

You can purchase any of my patterns either as PDFs through my Etsy shop, Jan Hicks Creates, or at any of your favorite stores.
