Concerned about climate change and the effect it’s having on our world? I have come across an organization that has put out a call for people to contribute to adding to the understanding and knowledge of climate change, using knitting or crochet as a medium to create a visual representation. This organization, called the Tempestry Project, has teamed up with the National Parks something something to help raise awareness of the impact of climate change on National Parks. You can learn more about it here: National Park Tempestry Project.
Want to join me and knit or crochet a National Park Tempestry Project? I have chosen Haleakala National Park. What Park will you choose? National Park Tempestry Kits

  1. Jan- per your advice I went to the Kitten Stitcher and was able to get a Grateful Hearts pattern. Thank you and Yay! Would you please post your color conversion. Remember…imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. 😊

    1. LOL. Thank you, Christine. I will get it up on my Color Conversion page today. Although I really did just find whatever I had the matched the original as closely as possible.

  2. The stickers that you are looking for are in Etsy, under Lindy Stitches, I ordered some and it is going to be nice to be able to document everything and put it on the back of the frame.

    Love your videos.

  3. Hi Jan – I too adore this pattern in your color selections & when I couldn’t find it on Kitten Stitcher, I went to Ebay — it was there! Love watching you on FlossTube but you’re such an enabler. I have many patterns from 80’s & 90’s but you keep enticing me with other possibilities. Still working — so buying now makes sense before I retire – that’s my story anyway. Keep up the inspiring stitching!!

    1. Happy to hear you found that pattern! It is such a wonderful one!
I totally get the idea of buying now to be ready for retirement! That’s kind of my justification, too!
We have 2.5 years before Mike retires, but it’s going to be here before you know it!
